School Day

Doors open at 8 a.m. for breakfast.
School officially begins at 8:30 a.m.
Dismissal begins at 3:10 p.m. via carlines, buses, or walkers.

Before and After School Program

Before School Program: 6:30 a.m. – 8 a.m.
After School Program: 3:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.

Breakfast and Lunch Program

Breakfast in the classroom is available daily between 8-8:30 a.m.
Lunch is served daily with a hot and a cold option.
Both breakfast and lunch are provided to students without cost to the family.

Transportation

Students may arrive at school via carline, bus or walkers.
Bus transportation is available to all students residing in the city of Springfield in Kindergarten through Grade 8.
Grades K-5 must live a minimum of 1.5 miles from school and Grades 6-8 must live a minimum of 2 miles from school.
Preschool students are not permitted to ride the buses per order of the Springfield Public Schools.

Uniforms

Students are required to wear the school uniform appropriate to their grade level. These are available at Blakes Uniforms in Springfield or Donnelly’s Uniforms online.
Boys in Kindergarten through Grade 5 wear red SMA shirt and navy pants and girls may wear the red SMA shirt and either the SMA jumper or navy pants.
Boys in Grades 6-8 wear the red SMA shirt and khaki pants and girls wear red shirt and SMA skirt.
All students require a gym uniform that is worn to school for the full day when they have gym.
Preschool students only require the gym uniform which is worn on a daily basis.
