2015-2016 Grant Support

St. Michael's Academy would like to thank the following financial institutions for their generous support this past year which will enable us to upgrade our existing computer lab.  Thanks to their generosity, we will be able to complete phase #1 of this project by purchasing 30 new desktop computers.

2014-2015 Grant Support

 TD Charitable Foundation

We would like to thank TD Charitable Foundation for their generous grant to support funding for our 2nd Grade Violin Program for the 2015-16 academic year.  TD Bank, through the TD Charitable Foundation, recently awarded St. Michael's Academy $2,500 to supplement our violin program which is incorporated in our second grade curriculum, and provided in cooperation with the Community Music School of Springfield.

Westfield Bank 

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Westfield Bank for their extremely generous $5,000 grant, which will allow us to purchase a supplemental math review program titled Math's Mates.  This skill based review program targets critical math concepts, and benefits the students by bolstering their retention of the concepts they are currently learning.  

Chicopee Savings Bank Charitable Foundation

We would like to thank Chicopee Savings Bank Charitable Foundation for their generous $5,000 grant which was used to help fund the purchase of 30 new laptop computers for our 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students.  The computers will be used for a variety of projects in four major subject areas: English Language Arts, Social Studies, Science and Mathematics.  

 Berkshire Bank Foundation

St. Michael's Academy would like to extend thanks to the Berkshire Bank Foundation for their kind $5,000 grant which was used to help fund the Middle Level Laptop program.  Funding will be received over a two year period.  This set of laptops will allow us to extend our school technology and enhance our academic programming. 

Massachusetts Cultural Council

We would also like to thank the Massachusetts Cultural Council for their generous $5,000 grant.  These funds were used to support our violin program which is incorporated in our second grade curriculum, and provided in cooperation with the Community Music School of Springfield.

Foundation of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Springfield

St. Michael's Academy extends thanks to the Foundation of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Springfield for their generous gift of $5,000 to help fund our Middle Level laptop program.  The Diocese provided this gift to support the purchase of 30 new laptop computers for out 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students.  The laptops are being used across the curriculum by our ELA, Math, Social Studies, and Science departments.  

2013-2014 Grant Support

St. Michael's Academy would like to thank the following financial institutions and foundations for their support during the 2013-14 academic year:
